Keep Your Home California is a goverment program that helps homeowners who have suffered a financial hardship,
the program helps people stay in their homes and maintain an affordable mortgage payment to avoid foreclosure.
Keep your home california has four programs available.
The first is the Unemployment Mortgage assistance,
if you qualify for this program you may receive up to $3,000 per month for the payment of your mortgage.
This program is for unemployed homeowners who are collecting or are approved to receive unemployment benefits from the State of California’s Employment Development Department (EDD).
The second program is the
Mortgage Reinstatement Assistance Program
If you qualify you will receive Funding of up to $54,000 to help you catch up with any late mortgage payments you have accumulated.
The third program is the
Principal Reduction Program
If you qualify you will receive financial assistance to pay down the principal balance of a mortgage loan and it would allow for a more affordable monthly payment.
The fourth program
Transition Assistance Program
For eligible homeowners who are undergoing a short sale or deed-in-lieu, it would provide Financial help for moving expenses to make a smooth transition into stable and affordable housing.
The programs are free and they work with many of the top banks.
